If we aren’t working, studying, socialising, with our significant other, etc. we do not have much free time.
Then when we do we have time to hit a gym, we don’t have the extra dollars…
So here are some quick exercises to do at home in between all the things we have to do in life!
And they require no equipment and no extra dollars!
Heard of the squat challenge? It has been blasted all over our social media lately, but why shouldn’t it be?
Many people have seen results with it.
The Squat Challenge is you pick a number of squats. Then each day you add 5 or 10 (depending on your fitness level and how many results you want to see). But don’t forget to rest every fifth day. There is only so much our body can take! Plus it has been really easy for people to get half way and then just want to quit… (I know I have like five times…) The challenge goes for a month. Many people find it easiest to remember this by starting at the beginning of the month.
So if you are motivated to get those butt muscles moving, this is the one for you!!
Day 1: 25
Day 2: 30
Day 3: 35
Day 4: 40
Day 5: Rest
Day 6: 45
We all know what these are, but make sure you are dong them correctly.
To use all your body weight, and make this the most beneficial you can, push up with your arms (shoulder width apart) and your toes planted solidly on the floor.
It is time to pretend you are superman and have special powers!!!
Lie on the floor and then in a superman position, with your arms over your head and legs raised, fly like superman for 30 seconds at a time, and repeat 4 times. This will work out your core big time!
If you are finding this too easy, feel welcome to add it to 1 minute at a time.
(Great for doing after those squats if you can!)
Leg lunges are a great way to tone up anywhere on your leg, but mostly those thighs.
Super easy. Just lunge forward with those legs and hold for 3 seconds and then do it with the next leg.
If you did want to make this more of a work out, grab light weights is you have them and hold them in your hands while doing these.
This is the easiest one to do while watching TV or doing homework on the floor.
As you lie on your side, lift your leg 30 times.
Then switch to the next leg.
Breathe and then repeat four sets.
Now Before You Go Off and Do These, Don’t Forget To Stretch Before and After!!!!
