You don’t need to be, or even want to be, an author to write a book – that’s the beauty of this. These days there are so many different and unique ways to write our very own books, you don’t even need to write a book IN a book!
Before you think I’m going all crazy on you, let me explain…
Since the evolution of books being available to be read online, it’s opened a gap for those who want to publish their stories that might have been knocked down by big publishing companies already (JK Rowling was apparently knocked down plenty of times before Harry Potter was published- wow right!).
People can write about anything they fancy these days. From unique and quirky things, like a book about teacups or a book about different peoples anonymous confessions, there now is no limits to what you can write as your book. Talk about relief! There is no pressure to write a certain way or for a certain genre and this is because of the opened gap now created by the online world of books! You can write about anything you desire.
You might ask,
“Why should I write a book?”
And I’ll reply with, “Why NOT write a book?”
Like I said, you don’t need to write a book IN a book. You can write blogs, diaries, a series of emails or texts and you can even just take pictures and put them together to create your very own story! The length can be short, long, or never-ending. Maybe you only want to write a few hundred words, that’s fine! You don’t need to write a 300 word novel, that’s if you don’t want too!
At the end of the day, it’s something you will have to look back on. There is something magical in the way we think and put things together. By creating your own book, you create a piece of art. Depending on what you write, it can bring back memories you might have forgotten in the future.
And if in the end you really love what you have written, you can publish it yourself and hey, hey… you might become the next successful author just by writing for fun!
