What To Do When… You Are Addicted To Facebook
Facebook is OUT
Facebook was cool…back in the day.
Now that I look at it I don’t really know why….
Why do I need to know what someone ate for dinner? Or why do I need to know that someone is at the gym everyday when they tag themselves?
Not to say we haven’t all been guilty of doing these things…but do we need to share this information to the world?
It is time to stop being addicted to Facebook.
But are you?
Here is a quick quiz to find out if this article is for YOU
If you know you are checking Facebook every time you are bored, trying to cut down will be a task. If you are game, take the challenge! Set a time period, and deactivate your account for that period of time! 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, longer! Whatever you feel! Once you do not feel that constant nagging addiction to open Facebook, you are really to reactivate!
Delete the app on your phone. Yeah, this does not suit everyone, but if you don’t want to be checking it at work or university, just get rid of it. Do you have to see it every lunch break? Or can you wait until you get home for the evening?
Make it inconvenient on your computer. Do not save the password on the laptop so every time you open the home page, you have to type it in. That gives you another chance to realise that you are about to check Facebook again…and do you need to?
Every time you are about to post a status, is it that important? Just give it a minute re think to see if it is something you really do need to post. Oh, and don’t worry, we know some things are exciting or you need to rant, but just with some of the status’ give it a think.
These are just some ideas of how to clean that addiction!!!
