Who Wore It Best?

WHAT: Blue & White Vivienne Westwood Strapless Dress

WHO: Kat Dennings Vs. Kate Beckinsle

Two beautiful brunettes. Two Vivenne Westwood Sequened Cocktail Dresses. One Winner.

That’s right, Kat and Kate have been snapped wearing the same dress on the red carpet! And now it’s time for that all important question to be answered:
WHO WORE IT BEST?

Kat Vs Kate

HOW THEY WORE IT:
Kat was donning a hot look as she strutted her stuff down the red carpet at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Feb. 10. The 2 Broke Girls star teamed the sequened and structured Vivienne Westwood dress with nude platform peep-toe pumps and gold David Yurman jewellery (Gorgeous accessories, but not my cup of tea with this particular dress). With her locks in loose curls, Kat had a touch of Gothic as she wore heavy dark eyes, lips and nails to match against her porcelain white skin. The dress hugged Kat in all the right places, showing off her AMAZE curves! Although, I would have liked the dress to have more length to it, adding that element of elegance…

However, little did Kat know that Beckinsale had already rocked this dress five months earlier at the Porsche Design’s 40th Aniversary Event in Los Angeles, Sept. 4 2012. The Total Recall actress went fot the natural approach in the make-up department and wore her hair in a high ponytail looking oh-so-feminine! Kate finished the look by matching her simple white earrings with her white clutch handbag and Christian Louboutin mesh pumps. Kate’s look was of pure elegance. The length of the dress hit just below the knee, showing off her great calves and allowing the eye to roam down to her cute Louboutins!

VERDICT: Kate Beckinsale takes the prize! As much as I am a fan of Kat, the elegance of Kate’s look wins me over. The dress is longer in length, and gives her chest  more coverage YET I think it is still incredibly feminine and sexy… I’m in love with her simple white accessories and ESPECIALLY THOSE SHOES!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LOVELY KATE
